On September 3, 2019, Nick and Cindy Ouellet became the new owners of T&D Amisk Camp (formerly T&D Amisk Cabins). Bruce and Janet Joa have retired after 28 years as owners, and are looking forward to some time for fishing! The Tait and Joa familes owned T&D for 55 years and developed a well-known reputation for responsible fishing and northern Saskatchewan hospitality. We look forward to continuing this tradition of world class fishing combined with providing a relaxed, comfortable wilderness vacation atmosphere for your stay with us. We welcome families, couples, groups, and corporate gatherings and invite you to contact us for your specific booking requirements.
Amisk Lake is located 30km south of Denare Beach, Saskatchewan and is on the southern edge of the Canadian Shield. T&D Amisk Camp is a year round drive-to fishing camp located in a bay on the south shore of Amisk Lake, near the mouth of the South Sturgeon Weir River.
Our lakeview light housekeeping cabins have potable water, electric lights and refrigerators, propane heat and cooktop ranges. Cabins offer a combination of ensuite washrooms and a central shower/flush toilet washroom building. A secure sheltered marina and premium fuel services, as well as included filleting service and ice supply are available.
We have 18' Lund boats with 30 hp Yamaha motors for rent; and you are also welcome to bring your own boat. The camp is located in a bay, featuring a shallow sandy beach great for swimming, and offer canoes, kayaks and paddleboards for your use while staying with us.
We sell fishing licenses onsite, bait and tackle and have a small store and gift shop in the lodge. There is limited cell service and wifi available at the lodge for guests.
We also offer winter cabin rentals in the month of March for a northern pike, walleye and burbot hardwater fishing adventures! Be sure to check out our winter packages, including snowshoe adventures through the boreal forest!
