Rabbit Adventure
Escape your everyday routine & enjoy a 2-hour guided snowshoe excursion on the Rabbit Trail. We'll begin our adventure along the shores of Amisk Lake before heading up onto a limestone ridge. As we snowshoe through stands of spruce, birch, balsam, tamarack, & willow, you will learn about the snowshoe hare, which calls the boreal forest its home. You'll discover how to identify its tracks, learn why it’s not a rabbit, & may even spot one sprinting through the forest! After our excursion, we'll return to camp to relax with hot chocolate by the crackling fire.
