Otter Adventure
Escape from your everyday routine & enjoy a 2-hour guided snowshoe adventure on the Otter Trail. Immerse yourself in the tranquil boreal forest as we travel along the shores of Amisk Lake & the Sturgeon Weir River. This forest & waterway provide an ideal habitat for winter birds & wildlife, including the playful river otter. We will follow their tracks, discuss their unique characteristics, & you may even catch a glimpse of one playing along the river ice! Along the trail, you will also learn about the history & culture surrounding this famous waterway. After our adventure, we will return to camp to relax with hot chocolate by the crackling fire.
